John D. Cox
John Davis Cox is a shareholder/partner at Lynch, Cox, Gilman & Goodman, P.S.C. Virtually all of his practice is devoted to civil litigation, including complex business and commercial litigation, as well as catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death. This includes extensive experience handling litigation related to mergers and acquisitions, ESOPs, Estates and Trusts, as well as contract disputes, personal injury and medical negligence. He has obtained numerous multi-million-dollar resolutions, including cases featured in the National Verdict Search publication, USA Today, New York Times, and other national publications. He has handled trials and arbitrations in Kentucky, Indiana and Florida and is licensed in both Indiana and Kentucky, as well as each of their federal, and appellate courts.
Mr. Cox is a Louisville native who received his B.A. from the University of Louisville as well as his Juris Doctor Degree, both of which were with magna cum laude honors. He also played soccer for the University of Louisville where he was a captain for the 1996 season and was a recipient of the Red and Black Award given to the two athletes in all sports with the highest GPA.
